Smeg mini kettle
I bought this two days ago and am sooo disappointed. The color is gorgeous, the metal finishes are high quality however the item has so many design flaws I doubt I’ll be able to use it comfortably ever. The lid is tight and cannot be opened without grasping it in two hands. Unless you know there is a hinge you only find out after tugging in every direction. Athena handle is too short to balance a full kettle. The steam rises from the spout and condenses directly above the spout. The base being squared means unless the kettle is placed on it in the exact square it looks like it’s off kilter. The measurements can only be seen from the inside. The pilot light is on the side under the handle so less visible than if on the base. In all, v v disappointing that the most expensive in the shop is the least useful to me.
