Appliances Online Australia once again secured top honors in Canstar Blue's annual electronics retailer ratings, earning five-star scores across every category—from value for money to customer service—and winning the Overall Satisfaction award. Remarkably, this marks the third year in a row Appliances Online has claimed the top spot.

The award is based solely on the views of Australian consumers, rather than those of a judging panel, so it reflects the experiences of everyday Aussies who have recently bought electronic appliances, either online or in-store. For the 2024 survey, Canstar Blue surveyed 3,711 Australians for feedback on electronics retailers they had bought from in the past year.
The win is particularly significant as Appliances Online outperformed not only dedicated online retailers Kogan and Amazon, but also traditional bricks and mortar stores like Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi and Bing Lee.
The survey required respondents to rate their satisfaction with the electronics retailer brands they had shopped with from zero (extremely dissatisfied) to 10 (extremely satisfied).
Brand satisfaction was rated according to the following:
Overall satisfaction: measures consumer satisfaction with the electronics retailer brand as an individual score NOT a combined total of all criteria.
Value for money: quality and longevity of product for price paid.
Customer service: staff are available, helpful, and resolve problems effectively.
Store/website layout and presentation: products are well-presented, easy to find/site is easy to navigate.
Checkout experience: checkout process is fast and/or efficient, multiple payment options available, flexible collection or delivery options.
Product range: variety of product categories, range of product options.
