Useless vacuum
Donot buy this worthless vacuum. No power at all. And throws back all dirt on the floor.
Steer Clear of This Model
We have just received a quote to repair the vacuum head which has failed 3 times since purchasing it new. The cost of the repair is 74% of the cost of a brand new HX1 as per Miele's website today. It would be throwing good money after bad. I have been a fan of Miele for many years but they certainly have a lemon with this model in our experience. I understand they have a new model but I won't take the risk and will look for alternative brands. I also don't understand why they don't offer the option of purchasing a new head as a spare part. There is no option with this model! Recommend steering clear of this model.
Loved it for the first month
I brought this a few years ago, and quickly found the filters a pain to maintain, and seemingly impossible to replace? It becomes very warm and has a burning smell when used. Quickly brought a big red cat and dog which I love. It’s a shame that the stick doesn’t live up to the expectations I have of the brand.
Have tried to use again a few times lately, and the burning smell is consistent, as well as a lot of debris falling out when it’s returned to the wall cradle.
