[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cons: Gone are the days of the pleasant 'click!' sound when the button on my old kettle flicked over when the kettle had finished boiling. Now, when the kettle is done, I get a loud, abrupt BEEP BEEP BEEP! Making a cup of tea has gone from calming to an unnecessary intrusion of technology. The button to open the lid is also extremely jiggy and I often have to press it down 10 times or more until I hit the sweet spot that releases the lid. Pros: Boils water quickly and quietly (aside from the beeping), good capacity, looks great alongside my matching stand mixer, the temperature control is a fun feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the kettle for a number of weeks, and am disappointed that the Hold Temp feature doesn't work. A little blue light comes on, but the temperature starts dropping immediately. Also, the button to open the lid for refilling with water, can sometimes take 6-8 goes to get it to open. It works fine sometimes, and at others not. I am going to persevere as it hasn’t even been 2 months yet, but I may be requesting a refund or replacement while under warranty.
